Wallpaper City Short Rotterdam

Wallpaper nominated our city of Rotterdam for the ‘Best City’ catagory in their annual design awards. Editor Vanita James asked us to make a short city profile. So we called local>global heroes Joep, Jeroen and Judith of design collective Demakersvan, Reinier de Graaf of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture and Ben van Berkel of UNstudio to tell us why they live and/ or work in Rotterdam.

Rotterdam was nominated next to Seoul, Istanbul, Berlin and New York. The latter won the award.
